Account and data deletion

This page explains how to delete your WonderLive account and/or some of your personal data, in line with the GDPR and Google Play requirements.

Deleting your entire account

From the app

  1. Open the WonderLive app
  2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account
  3. Select "Delete my account"
  4. Confirm the request

Without access to the app

If you no longer have access to the app (lost phone, app uninstalled, forgotten password, etc.), send an email to:

privacy@wonderlive.io

including:

  • The subject: "Account deletion"
  • The email address linked to your account
  • An explicit confirmation: "I request the permanent deletion of my WonderLive account and all associated data."

Our team will process your request within 7 business days.

Data that is deleted

  • Your profile (avatar, bio, username, date of birth)
  • Your posts (photos, videos, captions)
  • Your private messages and conversations
  • Your follows and followers
  • Your comments, reactions (likes) and reviews
  • Your preferences and settings (notifications, language, etc.)
  • Your parent-child links (if a parent or child account)
  • Your registered devices and active sessions

Data kept beyond 30 days

Some data may be kept longer to meet our legal obligations:

  • Security and login logs : 12 months (fraud prevention)
  • Accounting and billing data : 10 years (Swiss Code of Obligations, art. 958f)
  • Data required for ongoing legal proceedings : until the dispute is resolved
  • Moderation reports : 5 years (protection of other users)

This data is anonymised as soon as possible and stored securely and in a compartmentalised way.

Partial deletion of your data

You can delete some data without deleting your entire account.

Individual deletion from the app

A post Profile → tap the post → menu (⋮) → Delete
A message Open the conversation → hold the message → Delete
A review Profile → Reviews → menu (⋮) → Delete
A comment Tap the comment → Delete
A follow Tap the profile → Unfollow
A device Profile → Settings → My devices → Log out

Targeted deletion of a whole category

If you want to delete an entire category of data (all your messages, all your likes, your search history, etc.) without deleting your account, send an email to:

privacy@wonderlive.io

including:

  • The subject: "Partial data deletion"
  • The email address linked to your account
  • The categories to delete (e.g. "I request the deletion of all my video posts and my message history.")

Our team will process your request within 7 business days and will send you a confirmation by email.

Your other GDPR rights

Beyond deletion, you also have the following rights:

  • + Right of access : receive a copy of all your data
  • + Right to rectification : correct inaccurate data
  • + Right to portability : receive your data in a readable, transferable format
  • + Right to object : refuse certain processing of your data
  • + Right to withdraw consent : at any time, for processing based on your consent
