Delete your WonderLive account — data and privacy

Quick summary

You can request the deletion of your account directly from the WonderLive app.
If you no longer have access to the app, you can contact us by email at support@wonderlive.io.
A 30-day grace period applies after the request is confirmed.
During this period, you can cancel the deletion by logging back into your account.
After this period, the deletion becomes permanent, subject to data that must be retained for legal, security or abuse-prevention reasons.

Delete your account from the app

Intended flow in the app

Open the WonderLive app.
Log in to your account.
Go to your account settings.
Select the account deletion option.
Confirm your deletion request.

Once the request is confirmed, your account is placed in scheduled deletion. Some features may be limited during the grace period.

Request deletion without access to the app

Request by email

If you cannot access the app, send your deletion or erasure request to: privacy@wonderlive.io. For a technical difficulty accessing your account, you can also contact support@wonderlive.io.

Please include:

the email address linked to your WonderLive account;
your WonderLive username, if you know it;
that you wish to delete your account and the associated data;
if the request concerns a minor, your relationship to the account in question.

To protect your account, WonderLive may request additional information in order to verify that the request indeed concerns your account.

30-day grace period

Step	What happens
Request confirmed	Account deletion is scheduled.
During 30 days	You can cancel the request by logging back into your account before the end of the period.
After 30 days	Deletion becomes permanent and can no longer be cancelled from the deleted account.

The grace period prevents accidental deletions and allows a request to be cancelled if it was made by mistake.

Data concerned

Account deletion concerns in particular the data linked to your WonderLive account:

your user account and your login information;
your profile, your username, your profile picture and your settings;
your posts, comments and associated interactions;
your private messages, subject to applicable technical and security rules;
your subscriptions, followers and social relationships within the app;
parental or supervision links associated with the account, if applicable;
the data necessary for your account to function.

Deletion, anonymization or limited retention

Certain items may be deleted, anonymized, emptied or dissociated from your identity in order to preserve the consistency of exchanges with other users, to handle reports, to prevent abuse or to comply with legal obligations.

Data that may be retained after deletion

WonderLive retains only certain data when it is necessary, proportionate and justified by a legal obligation, a security requirement, abuse prevention, the handling of a report, the defense of rights or the protection of other users.

data necessary for the security of the service and the prevention of fraud;
technical logs or items related to a security incident;
items necessary for handling reports, abuse or disputes;
data that WonderLive is legally required to retain.

This data is retained in a limited, secure manner and, where possible, anonymized or dissociated from your account.

Minor accounts and parental requests

A parent or legal guardian can request the deletion of a minor’s account when the request indeed concerns the child for whom they are responsible.

WonderLive may request information allowing it to verify the request and to prevent an account from being deleted by an unauthorized person.

Targeted deletion of certain data

You can also request the deletion of certain data without deleting your entire account, when this is technically possible and compatible with WonderLive’s legal and security obligations.

For a request relating to personal data: privacy@wonderlive.io. Indicate the email address linked to your account and the data concerned by your request.

What this page does not cover

This page does not cover the economic, commercial or advanced features that are not active in the first public experience.

If these features evolve, the relevant documents will be updated before being presented as active.

Depending on your country of residence and the applicable regulations, you can also exercise your rights of access, rectification, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent.
